Over the last 25 years, I have appeared in many District and High Courts and I am enrolled to practice in 3 countries, including NZ and Supreme Court of Victoria (Australia). My qualifications in BSc, MBA and LLB (from two countries), give me an effective and broader perspective of the issues. No two cases are the same and I am committed to getting to the root of what you want and what your individual needs are. I will formulate the case which will achieve the best outcome for you.
Aside from my work commitments, I work pro bono in the community (Principal Advisor PANZ) and sit on the Auckland City Council’s Advisory Board for ethnic and migrant communities. I can speak 5 languages including Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, Saraiki and English and best understands the cultural needs if you are from ethnic communities, especially from Indian sub-continent or Middle East.
Testimonials
It has been great having you Gul, you’re a very easy man to get along with and a credit to your profession.
Detective Sargent NZ Police Chris Maitland
The approach Gul has taken in my view is absolutely the right way and demonstrates how far we have come, utilizing PHPF principles that are underpinned by our core values.
Superintendent NZ Police, Melanie Aitken
I’m thinking about cloning you Gul…..and putting one in every office.
Regional Manager NZ Police Prosecutions, Inspector Al Stewart
I would like to offer some recognition of how impressed I have been with your work. All too often during my time in the Police and the multiple Prosecutors we have had, they have tended to take the easy road rather than the correct one.
Constable Paul O’Hara
I have known Gul in a professional capacity for about 15 years. He has been notable for his attention to detail, even-handed and fair disposition and sincerity. Service to the community is always at the forefront of Gul’s approach and he is always mindful of the bigger picture when dealing with individual cases. Gul also has a wonderful sense of humour and has excellent professional relationships with prosecutors and defence counsel alike.
Ellie Harrison, Senior Associate at Wynn Williams
Gul is a superb advocate. He shows judgement and attention to detail. I have no hesitation in recommending him as a skilful and prepared advocate.
Barrister Marcus Zintl
I know Gul for many years in a professional capacity. He is a committed and skilful litigator, but above always very fair as a prosecutor.
Barrister Henery Laubscher
Gul is both pragmatic and also technically really sharp. But his real talent is being able to blend the two and deliver robust well researched advice that is also reasonable and understandable and which provides a clear operational direction to decision makers. He is the solicitor every operational manager wants next to him when it hits the fan!
Greg Reid Investigations Manager Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry
Congratulations on a tremendously successful year, one you can be very proud of. Your productivity and complexity of work you have undertaken is a testament to your tenacity and determination to succeed”.
Manager Prosecutions Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Jacqui Pate
I was quite impressed with Gul's enthusiasm, communication skills and professional demeanour when he joined Manukau District Court. During his time at Manukau, Gul consistently demonstrated all of these qualities. Gul is reliable, dedicated and eternally upbeat. His ability to remain calm with angry and frustrated customers was unparalleled. I am not surprised at all the achievements that Gul have had until now and his appointments to the responsible positions that required utmost professionalism, integrity and dedication. Gul was and will always remain a valuable asset to any organization that will take him in.
Bhupinder Deep Singh, Judicial Resource Manager Ministry of Justice
Gul Qaisrani is an incredible professional and the credit not only to his legal profession but also to the communities he is engaged with. He has registration to practice law in 3 countries. He acts as adviser to various boards and organizations. I found his knowledge of law and communities incompatible. Farrukh is an asset for any organization.
Dr Yousuf Hayat Qureshi, CEO at Healthcare Systems Strategies (NZ) Limited.
I worked with Gul at Ministry of Primary Industries. Gul was a very well-respected solicitor at MPI. He earned the recognition of his team through his integrity, hard work, enthusiasm and keenness to expand his skills. For those who know him, he is quietly ambitious, has a great sense of humour and always ready to assist anyone. Gul is one of a kind - a genuine human being and it's a privilege knowing him.
